Based in Young in the Hilltops Region of country NSW, The Joinery Store was founded by Paul Everdell, an experienced joiner who migrated to Australia from the United Kingdom. With a passion for fine timber craftsmanship, Paul established the business to bring traditional European joinery concepts and attention to detail to the Australian market.
Since its beginnings as a small boutique workshop, The Joinery Store has grown into a thriving company with a large workshop, showroom and offices located at 318 Boorowa Street, Young. Today we service a broad region across NSW and the ACT, working with clients in nearby towns such as Cowra and Cootamundra as well as further afield in the Southern Highlands, Sydney and Newcastle.

Kitchen Design
Our skilled team can assist in the design and creation of practical, well-considered kitchens and cabinetry in both modern and traditional styles. We provide guidance on material selections, finishes and colour palettes, and can produce detailed photorealistic 3D renders to help you clearly visualize how your finished kitchen will look within the space.
Our face-framed, hand-painted kitchens are especially popular, valued for their timeless character, craftsmanship and refined detailing.
Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer
Our team of skilled tradespeople manufactures high-quality kitchen cabinetry using a combination of advanced CNC technology and traditional joinery methods. Every stage of the process is carried out with care and precision, ensuring consistent standards and exceptional attention to detail.
Because all cabinetry is custom made, we tailor each project to suit the specific conditions of the site. This approach allows us to achieve a refined, well-fitted result that is both highly functional and visually impressive once installed.

Materials, Finishes and Hardware
We offer a range of door options including melamine, vinyl, paint and timber. Benchtops are available in laminate, timber, stone and more. We use high quality European kitchen cabinet hardware such as Hettich Sensys hinges and AvanTech drawers and Materials from brands such as Laminex and Polytec.

Doors, Windows & Other Timber Joinery
Stormsafe Windows
Our Stormsafe Windows range offers high-performance, energy-efficient Casement, Awning, and Picture windows designed to withstand harsh storm conditions while maintaining a tight, weatherproof seal.
We use Accoya® timber as standard—a sustainably modified wood with a 50-year above-ground guarantee—paired with double glazing to provide excellent thermal insulation and long-lasting durability. This combination ensures your windows not only perform under extreme weather but also contribute to comfort and energy efficiency within your home.
Double Hung Windows
Double hung windows are another customer favourite. We manufacture traditional and modern style double hung windows, fitted with Schlegel spring balancers. These balancers are tensioned to suit the weight of the sash for optimal performance. Our double hung windows also achieve great thermal properties and stability, having been subjected to third party testing.
Timber Doors
We offer a range of timber doors including sliding stacker doors, bi-folding doors and French doors. Our doors are constructed with care to ensure a stable and durable product. We use neoprene seals to protect from air leakage and draughts and merbau sils for durability. We can fit and supply door hardware including locks and handles.
Factory Finishing
We offer factory finishing of doors and windows. This includes hanging doors in jambs with hardware fitted, supplying complete windows fitted in frames, staining and painting. We use Teknos and Zobel stains and paints to provide a long lasting finish to the Accoya window. The end result is a finished product ready for install with little on-site work required, and a high degree of quality.
Accoya Products
In addition to Accoya doors and windows, we can manufacture Accoya Decking and Cladding. Accoya makes for long lasting, environmentally friendly cladding and decking suitable for all climates. We can now also supply Accoya Color Grey cladding and decking.
Other Timber Products
Aside from doors and windows, we can manufacture timber mouldings such as skirting and architraves. We can manufacture stair cases, timber cabinetry, decking, cladding and much more!
Accoya is an environmentally, highly durable and stable pine-based timber product suitable for internal and external joinery. Accoya has a 70-year minimum service life and is backed by a 50 year above ground guarantee.
SPAX screws are German-Engineered non-corrosive screws ideal for external applications such as doors, windows, cladding and decking.
Teknos paints and stains are water based, low VOC timber coatings ideal for Accoya Doors and Windows. they are suitable for harsh climates.
Tradco offer a range of door and window hardware in traditional styles and finishes.
We use Viridian glass for our doors and windows. Viridian manufacture a range of glass in single and double glazing configurations.
We offer a range of products from Brio including pleated fly screens and door hardware.
Silestone manufacture a range of high quality stone products for kitchen benchtops and splashbacks.
We use Hettich hardware such as Arcitech drawers and Sensys hinges in our bespoke kitchens.
